WALKER COUNTY’S UNEMPLOYMENT RATE DROPPED FROM 5 TO 4.6 PERCENT IN MAY
 

    OUR RECENT STREAK OF LOW UNEMPLOYMENT NUMBERS CONTINUED INTO THE MONTH OF MAY, ACCORDING TO THE GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF LABOR.

    WALKER COUNTY’S UNEMPLOYMENT RATE DROPPED FROM 5 TO 4.6 PERCENT OVER THE MONTH… THE LOWEST LEVEL SINCE SEPTEMBER, 2007.

    ALL AREA COUNTIES HAD LOWER UNEMPLOYMENT IN MAY… CATOOSA AT 4.1 PERCENT… CHATTOOGA AT 4.9 PERCENT… AND METRO DALTON DROPPED TO 5.3 PERCENT IN MAY.
